      What will you do

      Sensormatic Electronics, LLC seeks an Engineering Project Manager at its facility located at 6600 Congress Ave, Boca Raton, FL, 33487.

      How will you do it

      • Lead large complex hardware/software technology solutions development projects with overall responsibility for Project Management, including task scheduling, planning, tracking, monitoring, and status reporting and closure of a project or program.
      • Lead and drive industry best practices within PMO (Project Management Office).
      • Lead and coach the teams on process maturity and continuous improvements.
      • Drive activities to achieve measurable outcomes by managing schedule, tasks, dependencies, and supplier interactions.
      • Monitor the performance of project team members and escalate team impediments/conflicts that prevent the team from achieving their shared goal.
      • Provide the necessary support to the delivery team on risk and issue management.
      • Report project progress to project sponsors and executive management.
      • Develop and implement communication plans utilizing Project Management (Waterfall and Agile) and SDLC processes (primarily Waterfall).
      • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects, including account teams, customers, and development teams to ensure solutions are delivered to meet customer’s acceptance criteria.
      • The position supervises one (1) Manager, Program Manager, and one (1) Engineering Project Manager. Telecommunicating allowed. 10% national and international travel.

      What we look for

      This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a senior project engineer, senior software development engineer or other occupation/position/job title involving project management. This position requires experience with the following skills:

      (1) Estimation, project plan creation, organizing business requirements, managing schedules, and change management;

      (2) Resolving complex issues in a rapid change environment;

      (3) Managing multiple teams/projects in a dynamic environment;

      (4) Working with cross functional teams to review project requirements;

      (5) Maintaining cross functional schedule with dependent tasks and resources;

      (6) Leading other project managers by example highlighting organizational, meeting, and critical tasks; and

      (7) Identifying critical tasks/roadblocks and recommend solutions to senior leaders. In the alternative, will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a senior project engineer, senior software development engineer or other occupation/position/job title involving project management.

      This position requires experience with the following skills:

      (1) Estimation, project plan creation, organizing business requirements, managing schedules, and change management;

      (2) Resolving complex issues in a rapid change environment;

      (3) Managing multiple teams/projects in a dynamic environment;

      (4) Working with cross functional teams to review project requirements;
