      Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

      • Managing each product related project in compliance with applicable laws and regulations,
      • Ensuring each project has full project management control, with reporting of progress, status, and results against project plans for performance: on time, on specification and on budget,
      • Delivering the agreed upon outcomes for each project with full responsibility against the project plans,
      • Supporting the product management team in project scope limits, estimating and scheduling projects,
      • Planning and coordinating resources required to execute each project successfully,
      • Managing project data and ensure all documentation is maintained using the appropriate management system, SharePoint, etc.
      • Driving urgent ECMs for completion through the value chain to make sure pricing and routings are complete;
      • Driving project actions and milestones ensuring project success; investigation and notification of potential slippages;
      • Holding Engineering project status meetings;
      • Coordinate major departmental projects, associated with Training development and design, to ensure the highest quality deliverables as assigned by the principal;
      • Create/maintain training content and assessments for classroom training;
      • Update training content in accordance to engineering updates and changes; and
      • Participate in the creation of Technical service and Parts manuals .

      Minimum Skills required.

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Engineering/Operations is required;
      • At least 5 years’ experience working in Engineering /Manufacturing environment;
      • Must have experience in managing/coordinating technical projects from conception to delivery;
      • Good working knowledge of project management principles;
      • Assessor and moderator proficiency would be an advantage;
      • Ability to analyse and interpret technical information;
      • Advanced computer skills in MS Office suit; particularly MS Projects, PowerPoint and Excel; and
      • Must have valid license and own reliable transport.

      • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; and
      • Must have the ability to multitask with excellent follow-through skills.
