What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and lead civil engineering activities during the design and construction stages of multiple projects
- Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules
- Coordinate activities between multiple disciplines and project managers on complex projects
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to engineering staff to achieve performance goals
- Participate in business development efforts to promote revenue growth and maintain client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Successful completion of Civil Professional Engineer (PE) registration; NCEES Council Record preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of civil engineering experience, with 3-4+ years in battery storage project design and construction strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and information management skills
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and project execution, particularly battery storage containers and auxiliary BESS equipment
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timeliness
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Previous experience in coaching and developing engineering technical staff
