      Overview

      Abacus Technology is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide technical support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform work with responsibility in planning and conducting projects of limited scope, or a portion of a larger project which includes leadership responsibilities, scheduling, and planning activities.
      • Perform research, data analysis, development, design, evaluation, inspection, problem solving, production, application, standardization, testing, or operation of engineering facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, or materials.

      Qualifications

      12+ years experience in engineering support including at least 5 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Work related certifications and/or training strongly preferred. Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret with SCI access (TS/SCI).
