      Job Title: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician

      Job Description

      This role involves manufacturing semiconductor packages and assemblies with high precision. The position requires setting up machines, using specialized tools, and maintaining accuracy with mechanical drawings. The technician must ensure efficient communication, data management, and adherence to safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

      Responsibilities

      • Set up machines and use tools such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
      • Maintain accuracy with mechanical drawings and blueprints.
      • Ensure efficient communication and data management.
      • Adhere to safety standards, including the use of PPE.
      • Perform physical activities like bending, stooping, and twisting.
      • Lift light objects up to 25 pounds.
      • Stand or sit for extended periods.
      • Handle small parts with fine motor skills.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in basic arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
      • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels.
      • Capability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints.
      • Familiarity with computers, including word-processing and spreadsheet software.
      • Minimum of 2 years of technician experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High school diploma or GED (required).
      • 2+ years of technician experience required in a manufacturing/production environment
      • Operate and Setup Wire Bond machines - must have experience with Wire Bond lines
      • Programming (Minor programming to the spec), set up, and run machine
      • Experience operating and setting up wire bonding equipment - Brands of machine: K&S, ICONN, Hesse

      Work Environment

      The work environment involves a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time. The schedule includes 10 paid holidays and 5 days of accrued PTO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company diversifying its technology into the chip-making industry.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $21.37 - $26.71/hr.
