      Responsibilities

      Peraton Space Technology Services (STS) is the prime contractor on the Environmental Test and Integration Services III (ETIS III) contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). We support the GSFC Engineering and Technology Directorate’s Mechanical Systems Division in Greenbelt, Maryland. We provide facility operations and maintenance as well as integration and testing to support spaceflight hardware development.

      The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities ensure spacecraft and flight experiments will withstand the rigors of launch and will operate properly in the space environment. In addition to operations, these technical facilities have on-going goals of advancing the state-of-the-art in the development of improved space flight systems. The GSFC Environmental Test and Integration Facilities are one of the most complete and comprehensive space hardware test complexes within the United States Government.

      The contract is looking for engineers and technicians to perform work in machine shop operations, advanced composites laboratory development, electro-plating facility, sheet metal fabrication and assembly area and associated maintenance, logistics and information technology support functions.

      We are looking for the following positions on the program:

      • Engineer III - Clean-room Operations/Contamination Control
      • Engineer IV - Clean-room Ops/Contamination Control and Facility Engineering
      • Engineer V - Facility Engineering
      • Engineering Tech II - Clean-room Ops/Contamination Control
      • Engineering Tech III - Clean-room Ops/Contamination Control and Facility Operations
      • Engineering Tech IV - Clean-room Ops/Contamination Control and Facility Engineering
      • Engineering Tech V - Clean-room Ops/Contamination Control, Facility Operations, Facility Engineering, and Advanced Mfg
      • Engineering Tech VI - Optic, Blankets, Advanced Mfg, Clean-room Ops/CC and Facility Engineering, and Facility Operations
      • Janitor/Clean Room Assistant - Facility Operations
      • Principal Engineer (non-union)

      Qualifications

      Required Qualifications:

      • Depending on the position, the qualifications vary from High School diploma to Bachelor's degree
      • Depending on the position the years of experience vary from three years of experience up to 10 years of experience.
