In Dallas, Texas 75201. JOB DUTIES: Technology planning and evaluation as it pertains to system design requirements including new equipment selection, integration, requirement specifications, requirement gathering, design selection, alternative recommendations, costing, and scheduling; Working in a lab environment to define test plans and execute tests to meet customer requirement; Coordinating with Strategy and Product Development to define new products and service requirements; Providing input to the development and documentation of guidelines and specifications for the proper configuration and usage of application equipment and its components within the network; and Providing financial analysis on proposed products and justifying the cost-benefit of the new technology's impact on Frontier's network. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related Information Technology field plus 6 years of experience as a Network Engineer, Design Engineer, Architecture Engineer, or NOC Engineer or in a role/capacity engaged in network engineering, computer science, and/or advanced operations troubleshooting for networks with specific experience in the following:
Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related Information Technology field plus 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer, Design Engineer, Architecture Engineer, or NOC Engineer or in a role/capacity engaged in network engineering, computer science, and/or advanced operations troubleshooting for networks with specific experience in the following:
REMOTE /TELECOMMUTING POSITION: Remote work benefit available - employee can work from anywhere in the U.S.
