- Demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education and support to staff, patients, their families and carers.
- Practice autonomously as an enhanced practice nurse within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the directorate.
- Support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient-focused service, and will ensure the safe treatment, referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in their area.
- Responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
- Post-graduate qualification in specific speciality, or equivalent experience
- Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in specialty area
- Evidence of on-going CPD

Job summary
Creffield Medical Group PCN is looking to recruit an enhanced practice nurse within the ARRS roles, to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries. This role will predominantly focus on minor illness for the surgery.
This is a full time position working across 5 days, predominantly based at Turner Road Surgery but the candidate may be asked to work in the wider PCN group across Creffield, Nayland and West Bergolt surgeries.
The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds. As an experienced healthcare professional, educated to masters level, they will have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility in attitude and behaviour. They will be keen to undertake new ways of working and delivering healthcare, committing to under-taking the professional development required to adapt to changing circumstances. The Turner Road Surgery is a 2-partner, 3 salaried GP, training practice, with other clinical staff complimenting the team, to provide a safe and efficient service to our patients. The practice is within the partnership of the Creffield Medical Centre providing general medical services.
