What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process dependent eligibility verifications by reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with ERISA and client-specific policies
- Maintain accurate records and support dependent audit processes, escalating discrepancies to senior team members or management
- Assist in carrier billing reconciliation by comparing premium payments against active participant data and resolving routine billing issues
- Respond to Tier 1 inquiries from employees, HR teams, and broker partners regarding dependent verification and billing concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient operations and ensure high-quality service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in benefits administration, billing reconciliation, or customer service
- Familiarity with benefits administration technology and intermediate Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach

- Completion of all available training programs related to dependent verification and billing reconciliation
- Active engagement in professional development and process improvement initiatives
- Pursuit of external training or certifications related to role-specific and industry-wide trends
- Knowledge of CRM or ticketing systems
