- Knowledge of an enrollment management area focusing on outreach and/or retention (Preferred)
- Bilingual preferred (Preferred)
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while answering phone calls for up to six hours per day
- Understanding and interpreting the needs of students while providing quality, personalized customer service for all enrollment services areas
- Maintaining a working knowledge of federal and institutional financial aid regulations and policies
- Representing and adhering to Baylor and its values and policies
- Managing daily correspondence and inquiries pertaining to students
- Navigating confidential student information across multiple systems
- Accurately documenting interactions with students
- Presenting to groups of prospective students both virtually and in-person at recruitment events and information sessions
- Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a student or parent question and efficiently escalating queries and concerns as needed
- Troubleshooting common issues with technology and student account access
- Attending ongoing trainings on federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding financial aid and student accounts
- Maintaining regular and punctual attendance
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the needs of the Enrollment Management Office
What We Are Looking For
The Baylor University One Stop team is seeking a One Stop Representative to join the Enrollment Management team. In this role you will work with prospective and current students and their families to answer, counsel, and advise on all educational questions related to admissions, financial aid, and payment processes. This position is important to Baylor’s enrollment goals as assisting incoming and continuing students with their financial aid and billing questions will help retain students year over year as they progress towards graduation. By utilizing available resources and providing exemplary customer service via phone, email, and in-person visits, the One Stop Representative fills an important role within the division of Enrollment Management.
The Baylor University One Stop is a new initiative within the Enrollment Management Office. As a Baylor Enrollment One Stop Representative you have the flexibility to work remote, in-person, or a combination of both.
A Bachelor's Degree, less than one year of experience, and an active Christian faith are required. Three years of relevant experience are preferred. A combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
The expected salary range for this position is $20 per hour.
