      Position Description:

      Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Events and Operations, the Enrollment Operations Specialist is responsible for all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual support tasks for the Division of Enrollment Management. This role will process, document, import/export, and image confidential student record information into appropriate databases for undergraduate admission, graduate admission, and financial aid. This position will maintain student record information accurately and be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve any technical and data maintenance issues. This role will also provide primary or back-up responsibility for undergraduate admission, graduate admission, and financial aid phone lines, being able to assist with general student and family needs before directing to the appropriate person/department.

      Major Responsibilities:

      • Attention to Detail: Perform all duties and tasks with utmost attention to detail, including, but not limited to, confirming that student information, systems, and processes are working correctly and that print and digital letters contain accurate information for each student.
      • Detail Oriented: Maintains accurate student records and documentation.
      • Data Usage: Analyzes data to assess performance and student impact, then collaborates with others to brainstorm and implement improvements to programs or services.
      • Student-Centeredness: This position places the student at the center of your work and adopts a philosophy that makes serving the student the cornerstone. This position will interface with students and families in person and over the phone.
      • Understanding of Ethical, Federal, and Other Regulations: Ensure all tasks are performed ethically, within federal and university guidelines, and with utmost confidentiality.

      Required Knowledge and Skills:

      • Technical associate or bachelor’s degree required.
      • Less than 1 year of experience is needed.

      Other Qualifications

      • Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
      • This is a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment, constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment, including phones, copiers, etc.
      • The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
      • Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.
