A key focus of this position is the administration, enhancement, and optimization of Slate, the university’s campus-wide admissions system.
The Enrollment Systems Applications Administrator will work with key business leaders and other technical staff to configure, maintain, and support enterprise-wide integrations and system functionality, particularly as they relate to Slate and its connection to other institutional systems.
This position will lead and/or collaborate on the management, administration, and deployment of the campus admissions system (currently Slate) and, as needed, the financial aid systems (currently Slate/ProSam). These systems are utilized by three campus admissions units: the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Graduate & Part-time Enrollment Services, and NTID Admissions, and by the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
The position manages, maintains, and supports technology development for admissions and financial aid operations to support RIT’s brand, assist with student recruitment, retention, and selection efforts aligned with Institute-established enrollment goals, and aid in the administration and distribution of millions of dollars in institutional student financial aid. This role also focuses on managing databases and secure system integrations between the enrollment systems, particularly Slate, the campus Student Information System (SIS, PeopleSoft), and the university document imaging solution (OnBase). It provides ongoing support for enhancements and upgrades related to student enrollment systems.

Ensures that all data is shared appropriately to support critical enrollment and retention goals, as well as compliance with Institute, federal, and state regulations.
Serves as security administrator for all software and systems access for admissions and financial aid staff and many campus constituents. In financial aid systems, interprets and applies federal FERPA regulations to determine appropriate access levels.
