Job Description

- Implement hybrid and waterfall principles and philosophies to analyze, define, and document business requirements to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs
- Serve as a key contributor to product go-to-market process, user testing, additional product decisions and more
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to decompose large business requirements approved by members of the execution team
- Provide support to leadership for up-front planning, including current state analyses and forward-thinking relating to the project, process, and end-user experience
- Support the organization as the Business Advisor for backlog prioritization and fully own various forms of testing
- Act as the business coach on the project team to reduce the feedback loop and improve communication
- Contribute department and organization-wide perspective to decision making and align decision making with department, division and credit union goals
- Champion new and innovative ideas by inquiring to understand “the why” and root cause
- Apply research and data analytics to develop metrics of success for assigned projects
- Provide support and expertise to other departments in need of business analyst resources
- Present documentation and ideas to project teams and stakeholders
- Identify risks and issues to recommend mitigation approaches
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
- Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
- Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
- A minimum of 3 years of Business Analytics experience
- Ability to take an investigative approach to understanding, visualizing, and analyzing a problem to find a solution
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Proficient knowledge and skills to assess the business value of individual business requests from the lens of the user experience
- Strong aptitude for research with ability to seek, form, and drive process improvements across technical and business teams
- Excellent business and technical knowledge of various products and applications (e.g. key features and functionalities, architecture, user groups, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of user centered design (UCD) to aid in usability and accessibility analysis of applications and empirical analysisx
- Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
- Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
- Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties

OverviewCompensation: $69,000 - $100,000 based on experience and credentials
Location Type: Remote, candidate must reside in one of several remote hire location
The Enterprise Business Analyst leverages their expertise and skillsets to drive the execution of strategic goals. Key responsibilities include teaming up with the Project Manager, Manager of Business Analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to determine the most efficient and effective way to implement enterprise initiatives with available resources and minimize costs. An ideal incumbent is a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and motivation to see initiatives through from start to finish. The incumbent will need a passion for problem-solving and tying tactical outputs to complex, large-scale, objectives.
