  Job Description Summary:

  What you need to know about the role
  
  The Sales Intern will play a critical support role helping our Enterprise Sales Reps and Sales Team Account Executives to increase their focus on commercial efforts. You will provide market analysis and competition assessment to help the Sales team gain an increased understanding of new business drivers and decision-making. You will also have opportunities to participate in data analysis, drive recommendations, consult on corrective actions, and strengthen the ability to zero into what is working/not working.
  
  This Internship will be based in Stockholm and will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales, Northern Europe
  
  Duration: 6 months, Full-time, starting January 2024.

  This role requires an individual with an analytical background and an understanding of sales reporting, sales analytics and business intelligence. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with strategic business partners will also be considered a key skill. The successful applicant will be hungry to learn, enjoy challenges, be creative, reliable, energetic and results focused, with a can-do attitude. You will also be interested in the operational, marketing and financial aspects of businesses. A genuine interest in using data, insights and logic to deconstruct problems, to identify the source and propose solutions will be considered a plus.

  Your day to day

  • Support the Country Sales Director and the Sales team across a broad range of activities, including strategic initiative development, opportunity analysis, pain point resolution and process optimization.
  • Convert business questions into problems for data analyses and come up with actionable insights to impact growth.
  • Support with market analysis with a specific focus on start-ups/fintech ecosystem.
  • Communicate concepts and results with clear and effective visualization (e.g., Excel Charts and PowerPoint slides).
  • Work closely with the other PayPal functions who shape our merchant experience.

  What do you need to bring?

  • Currently enrolled at university for a degree in a business / commercial or related subject. Can also be in the process of preparing final dissertation.
  • Swedish & English proficiency.
  • Internship duration 6 months.
