      Description:

      The Enterprise Analytics Enablement team, within the Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) team, is responsible for enabling business users with all tools and technologies that help them with their information discovery and analysis, data preparation and visualizations, data science, and machine learning (ML). The team members are professionals in NXP’s suite of analytic tools: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Dataiku Data Science Studio (DSS). We operate on a global level with regional presence. We have team members in Austin, Guadalajara, Eindhoven and Kaohsiung.

      The Enablement Specialist for Power BI and Tableau in the Enterprise Analytics Enablement team is a specialist in our analytic tools: Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. Providing training in- and providing user consultation on using these tools is your core activity. The Enablement Specialist will help our self-service users to identify which tool or technology to use and when. You will help users with their dashboard design and optimize their usage of these tools. You will also help manage the platforms that host the analytics solutions to ensure the applications, services and servers run as expected. Analytics platform management includes monitoring the tool performance and usage patterns, developing and enforcing governance models, and conducting audits to identify opportunities to improve resource utilization. Your passion for data, business intelligence and analytics helps you in consulting with our users, and in defining best practices.

      The Enablement Specialist will possess strong people / project / Business process skills, and be an advocate for, and have thorough understanding of the EBI strategy and programs.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Be a deep knowledgeable expert for our Power BI and Tableau applications and how to apply the capabilities in our applications to solve business problems
      • Engage with end users on our media platforms such as Yammer (aka Viva Engage), email, knowledge base portal, intranet, all in a timely and professional way
      • Manage platforms that host the analytics solutions and maintain high service standards towards users
      • Provide tool-training onsite or online
      • Hold engagement events for users in your region: like User Group meetings, Office hours, etc.
      • Contribute to policies and governance model for our analytic tools and platform
      • Monitoring tool performance and usage patterns, developing and enforcing governance models, and conducting audits.
      • Create/update knowledge base articles and training material, and help keep our BI University on eLearning platform up to date
      • Process requests for tool licenses and maintain records of licenses issued and reclaimed where appropriate
      • Engage with our analytic tool vendors
      • Be open to and aware of the changes in the BI Analytic market
      • Be an evangelist and promoter of the information-centric and data-driven culture
      • Act as an advocate for the EBI organization and capture customer input to be used in the EBI organization

      Skills & Qualifications

      • Communication skills: English and good presentation skills are required; is able to give tool-training to groups and present to larger audiences inside or outside the company; is a good listener
      • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
      • Tech Savvy, and willing to learn
      • In-depth knowledge on both Power BI and Tableau
      • Passionate about data exploration, discovery of insights, telling a data story with data visualizations and employing advanced analytics whenever possible and appropriate
      • Experience with data analysis and visualizations
      • Demonstrated ability to be a self-learner
      • Strong collaborative skills
      • Problem solving and analytical skills
      • Able to work in a cloud service provider environment. Introductory understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem and AWS a plus.

      Preferred

      • Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, R, PowerShell, etc.)
      • Data modeling
      • SQL/NoSQL, consume and utilize relational and non-relational databases
      • Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and use of ML tools
