      Position Purpose: The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team is responsible for all aspects of ERM and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) coordination and reporting for Centene Corporate and all subsidiaries. The ERM Analyst position is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting complex risks, applying knowledge of risk management techniques and is also responsible for supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives. This position partners with multiple business units and/or functional areas to assist with gathering, analyzing, and documenting ERM and ESG data.

      • Support strategies to improve the company’s ESG ratings and propose actionable plans with appropriate measures to track results and integrate them into company business processes.
      • Provide input and support Risk Program implementations, management, and oversight including ERM risk analysis, risk assessments, risk education, monitoring, remediation, and reporting.
      • Analyze ERM data to identify trends and material enterprise-wide risk issues. Identify key risks and mitigating factors and conduct statistical analyses to quantify and assess risk.
      • Research, benchmark, and evaluate ESG initiatives, guidance, regulations, and standards and identify potential emerging sustainability issues.
      • Work with multiple business units to gather risk and sustainability-related data from internal and external resources.
      • Maintain a repository of ERM and sustainability performance metrics and generate reports illustrating data, text, and graphics.

      Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Health Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or related analytical field. 3+ years of related experience with a focus on risk management, data analysis, data modeling, relational databases, and project management. Experience on large projects involving risk, business, or financial analysis with a large company preferred. Previous responsibility for cross-functional business analysis preferred.
