      Position Summary:

      Enterprise Transformation Interns will participate in an 8-week program in one of three key areas of Enterprise Transformation: Technology Enablement, ET Governance & Finance, and Business Engagement.

      Enterprise Transformation Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      The Tech Enablement team is responsible for ET’s Operational Readiness and includes teams and responsibilities such as Service Delivery, Digital Assembly, Internal Support Services, and External Support Services.

      This position will focus on one of three major areas in the Technology Enablement group, being ServiceNow Enablement, Solution Development, and Automation Services.

      • Collaborate on Application Analysis, Documentation, and Process Improvement.
      • Contribute to ServiceNow Service Mapping for visualizing and documenting IT infrastructure dependencies.
      • Participate in the design and development of solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. Implement and automate business processes through the features and capabilities of the Power Platform.

      The ET Governance team is responsible for ET’s overall governance including Budgeting & Finance, Commercials & Category Management, Vendor Management, Asset Management, Centralized Research and Subscriptions, and Business Support.

      This position primarily centers on the comprehensive management of financial reporting, specifically emphasizing the strategic support for our Enterprise Transformation budget and financial operations.

      • Learn to generate accurate financial and budgeting reporting utilizing Power BI and other productivity platforms.
      • Assist in responding to ad-hoc governance and finance requests, providing analyses for decision-making.
      • Collaborate with the team to streamline governance reporting processes and address ad-hoc inquiries.

      The Business Engagement team ensures the successful delivery of projects by maintaining traceability, aligning outcomes with organizational goals, bridging the gap between business vision and technical solutions, and facilitating organizational change.

      This position will focus on the BRL team’s major responsibilities around proper business documentation through the means of:

      • Integration Specialist for ADO Project Setup: Assist in the development of automated processes for seamless integration of templates into Azure DevOps project setups, requiring coding skills and collaboration with template creators and ADO users.
      • UAT Pretester for Application Portfolio Lead Support: Assist in conducting pre-stakeholder User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for applications, ensuring they meet standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to report and address issues.
      • Application Portfolio Lead Support / App Inventory Specialist: Assist in the management and maintenance of Grant Thornton’s Application Portfolio, overseeing the entire lifecycle, collaborating with teams, and making recommendations for improvements or retirements based on strategic alignment.

      Additional responsibilities may include:

      • Collaborate with professionals from the US and India within the Global Technology team for a diverse international experience.
      • Participate in and deliver presentation(s) during the Quarterly All Hands ET Town Hall.
      • Interact with internal resources to contribute to essential Enterprise Technology projects aligned with core service areas.

      Enterprise Transformation Qualifications:

      • Pursuing degrees in: Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.

      • Strong performing student academically with interest in technology and a creative mindset
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
