- Draft, negotiate, and manage complex agreements involving intellectual property and entertainment assets
- Support M&A, catalog sales, and financing deals involving entertainment companies and content rights
- Advise clients on talent, production, and distribution matters in media including film, television, music, and streaming
- Work closely with attorneys, consultants, and professionals across multiple disciplines
- Provide strategic insights and legal solutions on IP and entertainment transactions
- 3-6 years of legal experience in entertainment transactions, corporate/M&A, or IP deals
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of catalog sales, entertainment financing, and content distribution preferred
- Excellent academic credentials and written/oral communication skills
- Admitted to practice and in good standing in New York or California (depending on location)
- Stable work history without frequent job changes or temp/contract roles
- Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days in-office per week
- Location options: New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA
- Base Salary: $170,000 - $230,000, commensurate with experience
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus eligible

We are seeking a highly motivated Entertainment Transactions Associate to join an Am Law 200 firm's dynamic entertainment practice. This is a hybrid position based in either New York City or Los Angeles, ideal for a mid-level attorney with 3-6 years of corporate transactional experience and a strong interest in entertainment law. The role provides direct exposure to entertainment financing, IP transactions, and production and talent matters across film, television, music, and digital content.
