Job Description

- Administer, operate, troubleshoot and maintain authentication systems and services with an emphasis on federated Entra ID Active Directory (AD) and to include on-premises Windows AD.
- Administer Entra ID AD tenant-level configuration settings such as Conditional Access Policies, Role assignments, Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD Connect (AADC) as well as other synchronization services.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, and others as necessary.
- Provide Active Directory group policy support.
- Create and modify scripts used to manage and report on Entra ID (AD) environment and on-premises AD
- Integrate and manage user authentication using various private and public key infrastructure (PKI) mechanisms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate Windows Server and Entra authentication issues independently and with a group.
- Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise level authentication systems and services for a complex organization >10,000 users.
- Proven experience in managing Entra ID (AD) at the tenant level.
- Excellent skill in researching and finding solutions quickly and effectively.
- Experience in managing a complex Windows Active Directory architecture.
- Experience in writing PowerShell scripts to manage Entra AD and Windows AD.
- Experience in independently tracking and resolving incidents via ticket queue.
- Experience in applying DISA STIG settings.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent team collaboration skills with IT and non-IT personnel
- Ability to adhere to maintenance windows and change control procedures.
- Self-motivated to take ownership of projects and tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task between multiple tasks, projects, and multiple customer requirements.
- Eager to learn and passionate about IT.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 8 years of IT experience, or 12 years of IT experience.
- Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
