      Job Title: Clean Room Assembler


      Job Description

      The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled (clean, sterile, medical grade) manufacturing area.

      Responsibilities

      • Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures.
      • Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
      • Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.
      • Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test equipment.
      • Participate in line meetings as needed.
      • Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
      • Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
      • Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projects.
      • Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.
      • Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.

      Essential Skills

      • Attention to detail and hand dexterity
      • Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment
      • Experience with clean rooms, medical devices, or manufacturing is preferred
      • Microscope experience is preferred

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
      • Must be able to work with small plastic and metal components
      • Must be able to maintain production levels in a high volume manufacturing setting

      Work Environment

      Work in a cleanroom environment where PPE must be worn all day. Jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, and perfumes or colognes are not allowed. The culture is professional and clean-cut, with business casual attire. First shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, and the second shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm. Training period lasts 5-7 weeks.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr.
