      Are you ready to launch your engineering career with purpose and impact? As aDistribution Design Engineer I, you’ll be at the forefront of designing the energy systems that power communities. From planning and engineering to field inspections and post-construction reviews, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both office and field environments—developing the infrastructure that keeps the lights on and the gas flowing.


      What You’ll Do

      • Design and develop construction work packages foroverhead and underground electrical distribution systems(4kV–138kV).
      • Conductfield inspectionsand return to the office to translate findings into actionable engineering designs.
      • Performengineering calculationsincluding pole loading, guying, voltage drop, and flicker analysis.
      • Createpermitting documentsand coordinate with local authorities (AHJs).
      • Support construction teams and conductpost-construction reviewsto ensure quality and compliance.
      • Investigate outages and apply engineering principles to develop reliable, long-term solutions.

      What You Bring

      • A BS degree n engineering or equivalent experience.
      • Less than 2 years of relevant experience—perfect for recent grads or early-career professionals.
      • Familiarity with GIS and WMS tools(e.g., GE Smallworld, Bentley Expert Designer).
      • A passion for solving technical problems and a desire to grow in a collaborative, safety-first environment.
      • Interest in working on a variety of projects: OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Lighting.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $29.81 - $29.81/hr.
