Entry Level Fire Alarm Inspector

- Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm, fire safety, and fire sprinkler systems, documenting deficiencies according to prescribed processes.
- Verify proper operation and prepare accurate, timely documentation of work performed.
- Prepare inspection and deficiency reports for management.
- Coordinate with service management to schedule and handle work.
- Communicate with customers to explain work and address questions.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain and organize truck inventory, including equipment, parts, and tools.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School or Vocational training.
- At least one year of experience inspecting fire alarm or sprinkler systems.
- Proficiency in PC use and test equipment such as multimeters and decibel meters.
- Knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, NFPA 72, and NFPA 25.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening.
- Obtain NICET Level I in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems within one year.
- Obtain and maintain required licenses per local codes.
- Exposure to weather, electrical hazards, and challenging environments.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, push, pull, climb, and balance.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions and locations, including heights and confined spaces.
