Torch Technologies Inc. is seeking a Entry-Level Hardware Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of hardware and software products within the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I). Responsibilities include the full lifecycle of hardware development: research, design, development, and testing. The successful candidate will evaluate material and process reliability, ensure practical design through specification analysis, determine technical and economic feasibility, collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate technical issues with users, operations team, and customer.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing radar, launcher, fire control, and battle manager for developing new system requirements.
• Create and set up test cases and scenarios, analyzing and reporting results.
• Resolve hardware and software issues or anomalies, recommending improvements when possible.
• Integration of tactical hardware and software.
• Acceptance testing of latest revisions of tactical software for existing radar, launcher, fire control, and battle manager on tactical hardware.

• BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and MSOffice.
• Missile Defense experience desired.
• This position requires candidates to possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position.
• This position is located at Huntsville, AL.
