- Provide Expert Support: Offer technical assistance and expert support for incoming inquiries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, demonstrating a deep understanding of IT solutions.
- Multi-Channel Responsiveness: Respond promptly to user queries through in-person interactions, phone calls, text, chat mechanisms, or remote assistance, ensuring efficient problem resolution and user satisfaction.
- Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive training documentation and provide employees with hands-on training for the latest software applications, empowering them to leverage technology effectively.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the daily operation of computer systems is seamless and consistent, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize disruptions.
- Ticket Resolution: Manage and respond to customer support tickets, guiding customers through effective problem-solving processes, delivering solutions that meet their needs.
- Hardware and Software Expertise: Install, configure, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, running diagnostic programs to resolve complex technical issues.
- Network Troubleshooting: Resolve technical problems within Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other network systems, maintaining connectivity and data integrity.
- Peripheral Installation: Install computer peripherals for users, ensuring a functional and ergonomic workspace.
- Follow-Up Excellence: Follow-up with customers to confirm that their issues have been successfully resolved, demonstrating commitment to exceptional service.
- On-Site Support: Conduct on-site visits with field personnel, delivering hands-on technical assistance and support when needed.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by attentively addressing inquiries and striving to exceed expectations at every interaction. Prioritize providing outstanding customer service experiences by actively listening, empathizing, and tailoring solutions to meet individual needs and preferences.
- Assist IT Manager: Collaborate with the IT Manager in utilizing various software tools and technologies to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of previous experience as an IT Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
- Information Technology degree, (2- or 4-year degree), from an accredited college, either completed or in progress, or related equivalent experience.
- Office 365 Certifications are a plus.
- Cybersecurity Certifications are a plus.
- Experience with SQL Reporting desired, but not required.

We currently have an opening for an IT Specialist. This role will be based out of the Kenosha office but w ill be expected to travel to the field job sites frequently, and to our Waukesha and Waukegan office weekly (at a minimum). This position would submit expense reports for mileage reimbursement for the regular travel.
The IT Specialist will act as the initial point of contact for employees (field and office) seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or Help Desk Software. Conduct remote & onsite troubleshooting, analyze issue details provided by users, and recommend optimal solutions.
