- Perform analyses including instrumental and automated methods using prescribed procedures and techniques.
- Generate valid data and report results on appropriate database compared to established specifications while adhering to GMPs.
- Compare laboratory results with specifications for acceptability and determine if repetition or OOS is necessary.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot instrumentation problems, procedural problems, or production problems.
- Review and understand SOPs and analytical procedures as needed.
- Schedule activities to meet target dates for customer needs.
- Follow all job-related safety and other training requirements.
- Perform tasks as assigned by area supervision or designee.
- Withstand extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities.
- High school diploma including laboratory work in a science discipline. An associate's degree in a science-related field, preferably Biology, is preferred.
- 1 year of related experience preferred performing lab bench work including utilizing instrumentation and reporting data.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
- Good knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including pharmaceutical GMPs.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Organization and detailed planning skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to apply mathematical operations.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated QC Technologist to join our team and support our fast-paced production environment. The role involves performing analyses using instrumental and automated methods, generating valid data, reporting results, and comparing laboratory results to established specifications. The position requires adherence to GMPs and includes maintaining equipment and troubleshooting instrumentation problems.

Work Environment
The position primarily focuses on production line support and involves physical activities such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and crouching for prolonged periods. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move light to medium weights of 25-50 pounds, occasionally pushing or pulling 50-100+ pounds. Dexterity in arms, hands, and fingers is needed for grasping and typing. Visual acuity is necessary for using keyboards, computer monitors, operating equipment, and reading materials. The work environment is fast-paced, with ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination required to move about the environmental lab. The position is contingent and requires availability from Sunday to Saturday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
