  Responsibilities

  • Synthesizes information from design briefs
  • Forms a design point of view for all aspects of the project
  • Creates concepts based on strategic insight working both independently and with cross-functional team
  • Passionate about design and ability to think conceptually and realistically
  • Understands industry materials and provides color and material specifications
  • Solves challenges through insightful and creative visual solutions across retail environments (shop in shops, in-aisle merchandising, off-shelf merchandising, endcaps, displays, and packaging)
  • Understands how to apply brand standards and style guides to assigned work
  • Collaborates regularly with Creative Director, Account Director and project team members as needed for the direction, review/feedback of assigned projects

  Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Interior Design (or comparable experience)
  • Strong portfolio with primary experience in retail, with events/tradeshows
  • Requires strong presentation skills and experience pitching ideas and capabilities to prospects
  • Advanced knowledge of the range of design principles and aesthetics
  • Working knowledge of consumer journey within environments
  • Continued education on digital engagements and types of technology for incorporation into environments where appropriate for seamless, innovative and immersive experiences
  • Proficient in Sketchup and Autocad; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
  • Seeks out and responds well to feedback and direction from others
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
  • Great attitude, sense of humor
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Ability to excel under pressure to meet demanding deadlines and prioritize assignments
  • Ability to follow through on written or verbal direction
  • Must have a critical eye for details; strong follow up and follow through
  • Ability to work independently or with little supervision
  • Team player, culture-builder

  Estimated compensation for this position is:

  48,500.00 – 60,000.00 USD per year

  The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
