      Job Description:

      The Day to Day:

      • Complete technical assignments of focused scope and increasing level of difficulty
      • Complete report writing under supervision of staff engineer
      • Act as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations
      • Carry out investigations and analyses to support the development of technical solutions,
      • Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with SSR requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice
      • Contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects and provide technical guidance to other team members
      • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution
      • Review completed engineering work to ensure it meets specified standards
      • Further develop understanding of the services delivered by SSR and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking and to develop personal credibility in the industry
      • Assist in reviewing and analyzing environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies and in evaluating proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public, and environmental impact
      • Prepares presentation materials for safety orientation and induction courses
      • Provides support to field data collection
      • Contributes into environmental baseline studies and preparation of permitting documents
      • Create and maintain a commitments register
      • Reviews the checklists of the technician team
      • Basic risk analyses
      • Maintain biodiversity studies
      • Attends to incident investigations and conducts workplace inspections

      For applicants residing in CO, the salary range for this role is from $90,000-$110,000. Benefits: 401(k); medical/dental/vision insurance; employee share purchase plan, PTO and STI.
