      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and evaluate environmental permit applications, reports, facility designs, plans, and cost estimates
      - Develop permits, action plans, and recommendations based on environmental regulations
      - Participate in site visits, data collection, inspections, and investigations
      - Provide technical assistance to regulated community, staff, and the public
      - Assist in preparing environmental guidance documents

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in environmental or chemical engineering
      - 0-1 year experience for Level 1, 2 years for Level 2, 5 years for Level 3
      - Engineer in Training/Fundamentals in Engineering certification required for Level 3
      - Possession of a current, valid state-issued driver’s license
      - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
      - Knowledge of State and Federal environmental regulations
      - Experience in atmospheric chemical transformations
      - Ability to develop and write technical documentation
      - Understanding of environmental rules and statutes
