- Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services
- Oversee and support the removal of underground storage tanks
- Provide construction oversight on environmental remediation projects and systems
- Prepare and review Initial Assessment Reports (IAR), Final Assessment Reports (FAR), and Closure Reports
- Assist in data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports
- Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to support property transfer transactions
- Prepare SPCC and SWPPP plans, secondary containment, and environmental control studies and reports
- Focus on team project delivery, taking direction primarily from project managers
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Environmental Project Manager
- Experience in project management for environmental projects
- 5+ years of experience in environmental investigations, sampling, and report writing
- Experience with Phase I & Phase II site assessments, SPCC & SWPPP plans, Initial Assessment Reports (IAR), Final Assessment Reports (FAR), Closure Reports, Containment and Control studies/reports
- Proficiency in sampling: groundwater, soil, and vapor
- PE License
- Asbestos Inspection Certification
- OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
- Experience with PFAS
- Field experience including soil logging and sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, aquifer testing, low flow groundwater sampling
- Experience in performing hazardous waste site investigations, wetlands delineation, Part 201 & 213, installation and sampling of soil vapor points and vapor pins
- Experience in preparation of Phase I, Phase II, BEA and Due Care plans
- Experience with remedial construction oversight

Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Job Description
The Environmental Project Manager will support, direct, and manage projects including environmental site investigations, due diligence assessments, and site remediation projects. The role involves working with a team of engineers, scientists, and administrative staff on projects such as soil sampling, groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, vapor sampling, and Phase I & Phase II environmental site assessments. The projects and clients are within the commercial and industrial industry.

Work Environment
This role operates in a flexible office setting with approximately 75% of the time spent in the office. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. The company offers a small company feel with about 20 employees and flexible hours. There is room for growth into leadership roles, including a General Manager position. Additionally, the company is working on setting up a stock plan for all employees, anticipated to be implemented by the end of the year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00/hr.
