- Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must possess knowledge of OSHA Regulations 29 CFR 1910, 1915 and NAVSEA Standard Items.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Maritime Knowledge (preferred)
- Knowledge of proper investigating and reporting of incidents.
- Strong communicator
- Ability to resolve complaints and negotiate with others.

Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current openning for a Environmental, Safety & Health Technician I at our San Diego, California location. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.ESH Technician Job Summary:
Serves as an environmental and safety resource for facility and subcontractor personnel working in a variety of industrial fields associated with ship repair. The areas include: on board sea going vessels and ships; industrial shops; dry docks;, etc., ensuring compliance with established Federal OSHA, State OSHA, NAVSEA Standard Items, and Maritime regulations and/or requirements
