- At least 2 A levels or equivalent at grades A*-C including a science subject and 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including maths and English.

The Apprenticeship Programme Duration, Cost and Qualifications
The duration of this apprenticeship is 5 years. The cost of the Apprenticeship is paid by Ramboll through the Apprenticeship Levy.

Progression Opportunities
On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have satisfied the requirements for registration with bodies such as the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) for Graduate membership (GradIEMA) or the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES) for Associate Membership, amongst others. Successful completion of the degree apprenticeship will give you the potential for onward career progression within Ramboll as an environmental consultant or further study to complete a Masters in a relevant subject.
Apprenticeship Course Delivery
Ramboll are intending to deliver the Apprenticeship with the academic institutions listed above, with successful applicants based at the Ramboll offices noted above. You would typically either work for 4 days a week within your job delivery role and study would be 1 day a week on day release, or blended with block releases as dictated by your degree provider. You will be required to complete an End Point Assessment where you will need to demonstrate that during the apprenticeship you have learnt the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.
You will join our Environment and Health Market
As our new Environmental Practitioner Apprentice, you will work as part of a strong dedicated team of environmental consultants, technical specialists and engineers, undertaking a variety of technical work across a range of environmental disciplines. Your work will be mainly office-based, with some site work required as projects require. Wherever possible, types of project work will be allocated to support topics being studied in your course at that time.
As part of the apprenticeship, we will work with you to develop your abilities to recognise and interpret environmental information and synthesise data to gain insight into the environment, and potential solutions. You will have the opportunity to apply the theoretical and academic understanding you have gained during your studies to real world projects and contribute to Ramboll’s strategy, driving sustainable change through trusted partnerships.
