      Summary:

      The Environmental Service Floor Tech will assist in all activities of the Environmental Services (EVS) department with primary duties being floor care maintenance. Ability to follow routine floor care and cleaning schedules in addition to managements requests for unscheduled tasks and project assignments. Duties may also include cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Cook Children's facilities. This position requires the ability to operate equipment safely, ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors and personal responsibility for your safety. Work assignments may be completed individually or in a team setting.

      Education & Experience:

      • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

      • One years of experience using minor and heavy floor maintenance equipment and knowledge of restoring floors.
