- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Knowledge and ability in general maintenance repair
- Repair structures and perform general carpentry work such as; installation of cabinets, partitions, shelves; floor coverings, acoustical ceilings, window glass; minor repairs; roofs, doors, locks, and other related items.
- Performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs, should be able to check and trouble shoot wiring; water lines; faucets, sewers, boiler room equipment, pumps, check valves, heating and ventilating systems, and other equipment.
- Paints building interiors and exteriors, and be able to perform general drywall repair.
- Estimates materials, labor, and time needed for projects; occasionally works with outside contractors, operates light automotive equipment to travel to facilities throughout the County and to transport materials, furniture, and equipment.
- Performs general maintenance necessary to maintain buildings
- Serve as a member of the Maintenance Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
- Shift: Sunday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Position Purpose: Perform various maintenance duties including- repairing apartment building interiors, fixtures, common areas, grounds and property exteriors in a manner that is consistent with all licensing, accreditation, local and state building codes, and company standards.
