- Collaborating with team members to perform a variety of field assessments, including fish and fish habitat assessments, pre-construction wildlife surveys, construction monitoring, water quality and soils analysis, hydrometrics environmental impact assessments, and Phase 1 Environmental Site assessments.
- Reviewing and compiling environmental information from a variety of databases, analyzing data, and summarizing field conditions for use in the preparation of technical reports.
- Being involved in projects related to environmental management planning, environmental overview reporting, environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring, terrestrial and aquatic habitat assessments, fish and wildlife survey/salvage, Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment, wetland assessments, environmental permitting applications, and technical reporting.
- Coordinating regulatory approvals required by local, provincial, and federal agencies.
- Working alongside your local team on public engagement initiatives.
- Collaborating with project teams to support wildlife surveys and habitat assessments to monitor, evaluate, and mitigate the impacts of projects on valued components and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Developing your skills and understanding related to environmental legislation, environmental impact assessment and mitigation development, client relationships and communication, technical writing and field survey standards, health and safety, and networking.

- You have a valid Class 5 Driver's License (required to perform site visits).
- Meaningful Rewards and Recognition – The position will have an hourly range of $23.00 – $26.00 an hour. The amount offered will be based on experience, and qualifications of the successful candidate.

We are looking to add an enthusiastic Environmental Student from an Environmental Science program, for a 4- or 8-month co-op starting in September 2025!

About the Opportunity
Working alongside seasoned environmental consultants and recent graduates alike, you may be engaged in projects related to fisheries and wildlife management, environmental assessment and mitigation development, site assessment for contamination, and regulatory applications for a variety of projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and communities, such as municipal and provincial government, Indigenous communities, and land development clients.

About You
We are looking for a student currently enrolled in a Biology, Natural Resource Science, or Environmental Science program, or a related discipline, and who is in either their 3rd or 4th year of study. Being eligible for registration with a professional association upon graduation is an asset. Related experience is beneficial but not required.
