Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Meteorology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or closely related field with 3+ years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance from a regulated high-tech manufacturing facility, regulatory agency or environmental consulting.
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Meteorology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or close related field with 2+ years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance from a regulated high-tech manufacturing facility, regulatory agency or environmental consulting.
3+ years of experience leading and driving air permitting and compliance for large, complex facilities including a thorough understanding of federal and Oregon air regulations
Working knowledge of Oregon State air regulatory requirements.
Leading and driving hazardous waste compliance for large, complex facilities including a thorough understanding of federal waste regulations

Responsible for the recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community. Coordinates the monitoring of workplace environments and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. U.S. typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
