Job Description

- Assist in the implementation and management of County environmental programs related to solid and hazardous waste management.
- Participate in daily operations of the Environmental Center including assisting residents, collecting fees, identifying and segregating waste, and preparing materials for shipment.
- Schedule and track shipments, order supplies, and communicate with vendors.
- Review invoices and input data related to solid and hazardous waste material collection.
- Assist in the implementation and management of satellite recycling drop-off sites.
- Represent the department on various committees, task forces, or work groups when assigned.
- Perform other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
- Experience with household hazardous waste or recycling facility operations.
- OSHA certification
- Experience operating skid loaders and forklifts.
Under the direction of the Environmental Center Supervisor, this position will assist with household hazardous waste and recycling facility operations and the implementation of County environmental programs administered by the Environmental Services Department.
This position will work at the Carver County Environmental Center recycling and household hazardous waste facility. Hours will include Saturdays and some evenings.

and
• Valid driver's license
