      Position Overview:

      The EO&T RM team is part of the EO&T Division and provides risk management over EO&T at Freddie Mac. Team members on the IT Risk Management control testing/QA team are highly-skilled risk management, and/or technology professionals with a demonstrated ability to provide risk management and advisory services to Freddie Mac. The team plays a meaningful role in shaping the company's approach to managing Information & Technology risk by providing independent, objective, and valuable assurance of risk management, automation, governance, and controls.       Our Impact:

      The IT Risk Professional will focus on support of control testing and Quality Assurance, data analytics, identifying process improvement opportunities and providing risk advisory support for EO&T. As part of the First Line of Defense, this person will work closely with risk partners in the Second and Third Lines of Defense.

      Your Impact:

      • Work independently and as part of the risk management team to ensure work is completed on time in keeping with professional standards.
      • Perform and document work such as procedure development, walkthroughs and controls testing in accordance with the risk management standards.
      • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our industry.
      • Use data analytics and automation knowledge to enhance current processes around issue management and risk management.
      • Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge sharing.
      • Identify and use data sources to drive analytical insights into Freddie Mac’s technology infrastructure.
      • Support control testing team with hands-on testing.
      • Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing research and review of industry publications.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 2+ years working experience. Experience must include a minimum of 2 years in Information & Technology or Information Security.
      • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems or related field
      • Implementation experience or compliance review experience of industry standards to include COBIT, NIST, ISO, or ITIL

      This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75,000 - $113,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
