      We are currently searching for an EPIC Applications Analyst- Professional Billing and Claims to work with our EPIC team in Charlotte.

      Essential Functions:

      • Assist in the development, support and functionality of an Electronic Health Record system and supporting IT systems.

      • Assists the organization in optimizin g the workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet the clinics and administrative needs.

      Skills and Abilities:

      • Understanding of the operational practice of clinical workflows and system build.

      • Professional Billing – A strong understanding of the core functions and processes of the billing office. An understanding of how the business office and other departments within OrthoCarolina work together . A solid comprehension of the revenue cycle management is highly encouraged

      • Claims and Remittance – Understanding the upstream and downstream data sources coming in from the insurance companies to be able to investigate the root causes of claims errors. Familiarity with testing and submitting up electronic claims and electronic remittance as well as knowing where each piece of data on the claims forms

      Qualifications :

      • College degree or equivalent experience.

      • Healthcare IT experiences in acute care or ambulatory care settings; Working knowledge of IT applications a plus.

      • Epic Certification in Resolute or Claims
