What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data for the development, support, and rollout of Epic and other IT systems
- Optimize workflow processes for local ministries by building tailored applications
- Apply knowledge of clinical and business workflows to implement effective systems
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the successful functionality of Epic systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or related field required
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of Epic Application Analyst or related experience required
- Epic certification or accreditation in designated functionality module(s) is required or must be obtained within six months
- Strong understanding of clinical and/or business workflows
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare IT, clinical, or hospital/ambulatory business office environment
- Familiarity with advanced technologies and treatments in healthcare
- Proven ability to work in a remote setting and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with workflow optimization in healthcare settings
