What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Focus on Epic application security controls, user access, and user provisioning
- Manage application analysts assigned to the security workgroup
- Understand and maintain Epic's security infrastructure
- Coordinate and build application-level security and provider settings
- Ensure compliance with Epic certification requirements for internal applicants
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active Epic certification in the required application/module at the time of hire for external applicants
- For internal applicants, Epic certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire or transfer
- Experience in application security and user provisioning
- Strong understanding of healthcare technology and security infrastructure
- Ability to coordinate and manage a team of analysts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Epic systems and their security protocols
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills related to application security
- Knowledge of best practices in healthcare information management
