What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, implement, and support new information systems while enhancing existing ones
- Collaborate with users and Information Services peers to capture business needs and develop application requirements
- Build or configure systems and develop test scripts to ensure software accuracy and validity
- Troubleshoot and solve moderately complex problems while providing production support
- Document processes and maintain communication with customers regarding the status of requests

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of information technology experience in a healthcare or business environment
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or relevant operational area, such as Human Resources, Finance, or IT support
- Knowledge of key concepts and trends in information technology and information systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional certifications such as ITIL Certified, Microsoft Certified Professional, EHR Certification, or HFMA
- Familiarity with application configuration, system integration, and database fundamentals
