What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported through the help desk, including on-call coverage as necessary
- Analyze and resolve application incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, and upgrades in collaboration with colleagues and across teams
- Develop and maintain requirements, specifications, and test cases for new or enhanced functionality in department applications
- Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support application design and changes
- Implement changes in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Epic Lumens OR Epic Radiant certification
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related technical/business area plus 1 year of IT or business experience; 1 year of Epic-specific experience is required; 3 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Epic certification in application support
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare IT environment
- Familiarity with workflow analysis and application design
- Additional certifications in Epic applications
- Experience with project management and implementation processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
