- I&T support of 1 to 2 Epic modules and other related applications
- 70% of time dedicated to daily operational support and quarterly system updates
- 10% of time dedicated to projects which includes supporting system enhancements/new features, enhanced workflow design, and optimization
- Develop and implement data mapping strategies to ensure accurate translation of healthcare data across different systems
- Keep up to date with industry standards and best practices in healthcare interoperability
- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues, ensuring smooth data flow between systems
- Participates in additional projects as assigned by supervisor
- Works effectively and efficiently as part of a team on assignments. Can work independently on some assignments. Takes direction
- Collaborates with customers, vendors and other IT professionals to meet challenges and coordinate resources to achieve quality outcomes
- Escalates problems and concerns to supervisors
- Develops how-to documentation and workflows for end-users and fellow team members
- Provides on-call support
- Expected to pursue Epic certification in assigned modules within six months of hire
- Comprehensive experience with the full project life cycle and strong documentation skills
- Skill in communicating effectively in both oral and written form for the needs of the audience
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
- Ability to utilize PC software applications in the creation, analysis, and retrieval of data
- Ability to complete independent and thorough research on workflows and technical configuration options
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate and demonstrate system workflows
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in an IT development or healthcare operational support role
- Applications experience in either an application support or implementation role
- Skilled in implementing and supporting solutions for healthcare interoperability

OverviewThe EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst I supports, troubleshoots, and resolves daily operational issues/requests from end users leveraging our Epic applications. The Epic Systems Analyst I works with other analysts and operational counterparts to maintain continuity in process and in support of our integrated Epic electronic medical record. While Epic Systems Analyst I positions are primarily focused on system maintenance, they will also actively participate in projects with guidance from more senior members of the Epic team. This role supports and helps promotes clinical workflows, interoperability activities and oversees the setup of Epic's EpicCare Ambulatory module to enable seamless health information exchange between healthcare organizations.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $58,252.90 -$87,379.14 USD AnnualAnnual, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
