What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform pharmaceutical duties in the hospital pharmacy department and support the pharmacy EHR system
- Participate in workflow analysis, data collection, and system testing to maintain quality EMR
- Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff to understand needs and relay updates
- Document work efforts and participate in meetings to gather data for assignments
- Support remote end users and implement solutions to reported issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must possess a pharmacist license and be registered with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of one year of work experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of hospital and/or outpatient operations and analytical skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient care, patient accounts, registration, scheduling, claims, or health information management
- Demonstrated leadership characteristics in previous roles
- EPIC Certification(s) obtained within 90 days of first scheduled class
