      Englewood Health IT is looking for Epic Security / Identity and Access Management (IDM) Analyst to join its expanding team to contribute to the overall security of Englewood Health’s Information Security initiatives. The Epic Security Analyst is the guardian of all staff identity and access to the electronic health record (EHR) with responsibility for safeguarding critical and confidential information belonging to the enterprise. The Epic Security Analyst is responsible for Epic user records (EMP users, templates, and sub-templates), provider records (SER), security classes (ECL), and provider/patient groups (PGP) administration. This includes the life cycle management of the records (creation, modification, inactivation) and auditing as appropriate. The Epic Security Analyst participates in the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation, optimization, and support related to Epic security and Schedulable Epic Resources while working with application teams to deploy functionality changes, new modules or departments, update security classes, modify provider records, conduct user analysis, and implement security enhancements. The IAM analyst role typically provides IAM expertise and guidance to various business units. It works closely with IT and cybersecurity groups to gather identity and access management requirements to design and implement access controls across all systems to support IT and cybersecurity strategies. The analyst will play a primary role in the Identity and Access management function using standard industry software like Avatier, Sailpoint, etc. The Epic Security Analyst guides optimizing security build based on appropriate minimum necessary standards. The Epic Security Analyst is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, testing, support, and optimization of Epic user security and provider management, in addition to Identity Governance and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC). The Analyst engages in process improvement projects to improve efficiency and accuracy of work performed and other security-related activities, as appropriate, to ensure electronic information's integrity, availability, and confidentiality.

      RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Practices excellent customer support skills and interacts collaboratively with users.
      • Troubleshoots problems and addresses questions from users and aids and supports others in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
      • Performs warm handoffs between support teams and communicates timely updates to end-users. Develop and maintain comprehensive security runbooks.
      • Help develop Policies and Procedures.
      • Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
      • Provides on-call support on a rotating basis.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
      • Bachelor’s in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
      • Masters preferred
      • Excellent knowledge and understanding of various IAM concepts
      • Excellent knowledge and understanding of different SSO and MFA concepts
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective problem-solving skills are required.
      • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in an Epic analyst role
      • Epic Security certification required
      • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
      • Communicate effectively across all teams and stakeholders associated with task assignments.
      • With assistance and oversight, adapts communications to meet the audience's needs. Provides the appropriate amount of technical information to share knowledge and workflows or to obtain decisions.
      • Manages project stakeholder expectations effectively
