      Summary
      • This position assumes responsibility for coordination of the Epic Super User and Training program. The coordinator assists in supporting the organization in the goal of ensuring every caregiver is knowledgeable regarding the appropriate use of Epic in order to increase efficiency and improve healthcare quality and patient safety ongoing through all upgrades, implementations, and for all new caregivers.
      • The coordinator will ensure seamless training logistics and is responsible for recording key measures related to Epic with Mosaic Life Care's Super User and Training programs. The coordinator develops productive relationships with Mosaic Life Care leadership to make certain a sustainable Super User and Training program is established and that the programs provide a solid foundation for success through clear communication and involvement across all levels of the organization.
      • This position works under the supervision of the Enterprise Informatics Manager and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
      Duties
      • EPIC SUPER USER PROGRAM: Coordinates scheduling and assist with Super User engagement for ongoing refresher and optimization training, new caregiver training, and Epic upgrade training.
      • EPIC TRAINING PROGRAM: Plans, organizes, and schedules, and communicates internal Epic training programs for all caregivers including managing timelines and milestones. Records and monitors training results; prepare and disseminate reports as required. Supports Epic Training Manager in maintaining master training calendar based on training calculator data, in addition to coordinating a centralized registration training registration process. Manages logistics for training activities including training rooms/spaces, equipment, communications, schedules, flyers, brochures, etc.
      • COLLABORATON: Acts as a liaison within Epic training and Mosaic Life Care caregivers, by conducting needs analysis and developing internal relationships through effective communication and personal skills. Collaborates with all levels of Mosaic Life Care leadership and caregivers to assess and improve efficiencies for Super User and Training program. Collaborates with Epic Training Management to identify metrics for process improvement. Evaluates training sessions and provide feedback, as necessary to ensure team success.
      • Other Duties as Assigned: Promotes positive interpersonal relationships with fellow caregivers, physicians, patients, and visitors. Treats all individuals with courtesy, dignity, empathy, and respect.
      Qualifications
      • H.S. Diploma Required. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or similar or obtained within 2 years of hire preferred.
      • EPIC certification(s) or accreditation - Any Inpatient/Outpatient Application is preferred.
      • 2 Years Experience organizing and prioritizing to meet project deadlines required. 2 Years experience supporting adult learning and development, corporate training or organizational development department; 2 Years experience with Adult Learning Techniques; Minimum two years of experience in adult education or corporate training programs; Demonstrated skill in human relations and written, verbal, and electronic communication; Proven skill in oral presentation and facilitation preferred. Experience in Epic is preferred but not required.
