      Responsible for assisting in the design and planning of epidemiological studies; support database development and management activities using Redcap software, EPIC, data abstraction and data management techniques; develop and test data collection instruments; conduct and coordinate routine quality control; utilize statistical software, manipulate data sets and conduct basic statistical analyses; assist biostatisticians and clinical investigators in the analysis and interpretation of data obtained from studies using SAS for data analysis; responsible for the identification, recruitment and follow up of study subjects while complying with HIPAA policies; utilize SAS, Excel, SQL, SPSS, R, EndNote, Redcap, IRB regulatory application submission, epidemiological/statistical methods, scientific writings, literature reviews, presentation of scientific findings, and data management to perform duties; provide support with IRB regulatory application submissions and drafting progress reports, and the design and analysis of clinical trials; conduct literature reviews, participate in journal clubs, keep current with epidemiological literature and methods, and develop procedure manuals and report formats; compiles progress or status reports on varying aspects of each study; and perform various tasks in support of biomedical and epidemiological studies.

      Location : Detroit, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US.

      Education: Master’s Degree – Public Health, Epidemiology, Medical Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

      Experience: None;

      Other Requirements: Must have completed one (1) academic semester of coursework and/or research work that included use of all the following: SAS, Excel, SPSS, R, IRB regulatory application submission, epidemiological/statistical methods, scientific writings, literature reviews, presentation of scientific findings, and data management.

      Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
