Job Description
- Req#: 4274368
- Provide testing, counseling, and education on STDs and HIV.
- Conduct interviews with clients, identify, and contact partners and associates to infection and discuss methods of risk reduction.
- Refer clients to services for STD/HIV treatment, mental health, and addiction programs.
- Collaborate with other agencies and community-based organizations for targeted activities such as screening, outreach, and education.
- Documents and performs case management duties
- Conducts interviews with positive clients
- Conducts field record activities
- Performs testing and counseling
- Performs training on STD/HIV education
- Works with physician, health care providers and community collaborations
- Records searches
- Maintains training and continuing education
- Perform all other related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required

Phlebotomist preferred.
Computer literate.
Bilingual preferred.
If hired, must provide proof of educational attainment
at New Hire Processing or during the promotional process.
