- He/ She is charge of the expertise regarding international/regional/organizational standards and regulations applicable to electrification products
- Represents PO Clean Energy Systems at regulatory associations, participates to working groups
- He/She is in charge of providing the information and synthesis of all details of standards and regulations.
- The function also covers knowledge regarding the installation of the components in a vehicle and support Plastic Omnium Customers with expertise in the fiel
- Provide technical standards and regulations to system engineering team for product design of battery pack components and systems
- Define and update product guidelines to fit with regulations:
- Support technical and project teams at customer meetings on standards and certification topics.
- Centralize expertise for regulations applicable to automotive and railway application battery packs (GTR EVS No.20, R100, R136, FMVSS 305, GB38031, UN38.3, 2006/66/EC etc …)
- Develop proximity with notified bodies and become the window person
- Active PO representative into regulatory associations (UNECE, Recharge, PFA etc.) and related working groups
- Participate to definition of standard products
- Participate to industrial and process development for compliance with local/global regulations
- Support customers for system certification and vehicle homologation
- Support customer meetings with regulation expertise
- Participate to workgroups at regulatory meetings
- Lead the network of local/national representatives in the field of standards/regulations
- Bachelors or Master degree in technical field
- 5 years of experience in a similar function (product certification or homologations manager) is a plus
- Experience with battery pack applications is appreciated
- Experience in automotive and/or railway applications is a plus
- Very good knowledge of Regulation, Homologation and Safety within electrification
- Clear and transparent communication, good presentation, credibility, trustful
