Job Description

- Perform routine and complex repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine cost-effective solutions.
- Communicate with operators and coordinate with parts staff.
- Test equipment post-repair to ensure functionality.
- Maintain tools, a clean work area, and follow safety protocols.
- Complete repair documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with inventory and other tasks as needed.
- 5+ years of diesel/gas engine repair experience, preferably in a fleet setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with heavy equipment or vehicle repair preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
- Must wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.
- Additional training in equipment or truck engine repair preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving and BG Check
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
- Must read, write, and speak English.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
- Must pass DOT physical.

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors in a non-climate controlled area with intermittent exposure to weather elements such as heat, humidity, cold, and dust. Frequent exposure to high noise levels, truck vibration, dust, diesel fuel, lubricants, and other substances requires proper handling. Physical requirements include frequent standing on concrete, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing, lifting up to 100 lbs., and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
